The ASE Education Foundation has introduced the Michael Busch Memorial Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year, to provide financial assistance to students who are committed to pursuing a career in the collision repair industry.

The scholarships are named in memory of Michael Busch, the son of Jim Busch, a former collision shop owner and ASE board member. Michael, an automotive technology student, passed away after a battle with cancer, and these scholarships honor his passion for the automotive field.

Eligible candidates for the scholarships include graduating high school seniors, high school graduates or GED certificate holders who are enrolled or planning to enroll as full-time students in a two- or four-year college, university, or an ASE-accredited post-secondary collision repair program.

Interested students are encouraged to apply by March 31 to be considered for one of the two available scholarships. Applications can be submitted online at AutomotiveScholarships.com/apply-online, where each application will also be reviewed for additional scholarship opportunities for which the candidate may qualify.
