Joe Hudson’s Collision Center (JHCC) announced the acquisition of Mike Smith’s Automotive Collision Center in Dothan, AL. The deal established JHCC’s 43rd location in Alabama and second in Dothan.

“This acquisition represents an important part of our growth strategy,” said Brant Wilson, CEO of JHCC. “We are focused on strengthening our presence in markets where customer demand is high, and where we already have the leadership and operational infrastructure in place to support successful growth. Dothan is one of those markets. Not only have we seen strong performance from our existing location here, but Mike Smith’s is a trusted name in the community. This is a strategic fit where we’ve already proven our ability to succeed -- and we’ll continue to pursue opportunities in nearby markets that complement our existing footprint.”

Mike Smith’s Automotive Collision Center is known for its top-tier service, a legacy built over years of delivering reliable, high-quality repairs. Their dedication to excellence aligns seamlessly with Joe Hudson’s mission and values.

“Mike Smith’s is a great addition to the Joe Hudson’s network,” said Cameron Dickson, COO of JHCC. “Their reputation for outstanding service and commitment to customer satisfaction mirrors our own standards. We’re especially excited about their emphasis on technician development -- this location is I-CAR Gold Class certified, which speaks volumes about their focus on training and quality. That alignment sets the stage for a smooth transition and continued success under the JHCC banner.”

In addition to the facility and its legacy of service, JHCC sees the team at Mike Smith’s as integral to the acquisition.

“This move is just as much about the people as it is the location,” said Wendy Patrick, chief administrative officer of JHCC. “We’re thrilled to welcome the Mike Smith’s team into the JHCC family. They bring experience, skill, and a customer-first mindset that’s essential to our culture. Just as importantly, we’re offering them a place to grow and succeed -- with ongoing support and career opportunities. Our acquisition infrastructure is built to ensure a seamless integration, so their transition will be smooth, and they’ll have the tools and resources they need to thrive.”

Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, headquartered in Montgomery, AL, was founded in 1989.
