The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) announced its 14th annual charity event, "Cocktails for a Cause," will be held in Palm Springs, CA, in conjunction with Industry Week. The event will take place Jan. 21, 2025, at the Agua Caliente Casino, CASCADE Lounge.

This annual charity event helps to raise much-needed funds for emergency relief to collision repair industry professionals during their times of need. Through the generous support of many industry donors and individuals, CIF is continuing this vital mission. In recent years, hundreds of individuals have received disaster relief assistance, including survivors of hurricanes, wildfires, flooding or other significant losses.

The event will feature industry networking, great food and beverages, a live drawing for prizes and the CIF Live Auction. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Register at collisionindustryfoundation.org.

Another fundraising initiative, the CIF Annual Donor Program, recently announced a repeat donor, as PPG committed for the third consecutive year with a donation at the Urgent Care (second highest) tier.

Introduced in 2021, the Annual Donor Program was designed to bring needed recurring resources to CIF, so it can deliver on its mission to "Answer the Call" when those in the industry have been impacted by catastrophic events.

"PPG is proud to support the Collision Industry Foundation and its mission to provide relief and assistance to industry stakeholders affected by catastrophic events," said Tom Wolf, director of strategic accounts for PPG. "Through our partnership with CIF, we are dedicated to helping those in the collision repair industry recover and rebuild during challenging times. By combining our resources and expertise, we aim to make a positive impact and ensure that industry professionals receive the support they need when it matters most. Together, we stand committed to fostering resilience and solidarity within the collision repair community."

For more than two decades through the generous support of corporations and individuals, CIF has been able to assist hundreds of collision repair professionals in need after disaster. CIF is grateful for PPG's continued support of the Annual Donor Program, which will enable CIF to continue its work for disaster relief assistance.
