Corwin Automotive Group, represented by Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions, has acquired Groove Honda in Colorado Springs, CO, adding a new dealership to its growing portfolio in a region the group is keen to expand in.
The dealership will now operate under the name Corwin Honda.
Corwin Automotive Group, based in North Dakota, was founded in 1914. It now has 17 store locations across the country in North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, Missouri, Idaho, Colorado, Montana and Washington. Brands include Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat and Honda.
"Honda in Colorado Springs is a unique opportunity for us to expand in a market we love with a brand we believe in," said Dan Wilson, CFO and partner of Corwin Automotive Group. "This is a great opportunity for our company as we continue to look for outstanding opportunities like this one."
Pinnacle’s founder and CEO, Bill Scrivner, and President Mike Sims were instrumental in brokering the transaction. Pinnacle has worked with Corwin on multiple acquisitions.
“The Corwin family and Dan Wilson have built one of the best auto groups in the country,” Sims said. “Their commitment to doing business the right way has made them a great partner in transactions.”
