Integrity Automotive Service is expanding to a second location in Middletown, OH, as growing demand has pushed the original shop to full capacity, often leaving dozens of cars waiting for service.
The new facility, located at 2512 Atco Ave. and named Integrity Automotive North, will officially open its doors Feb. 2. The original location at 1320 Elliott Drive will be renamed Integrity Automotive South.
Owner Pete Esposito told the Journal-News the expansion was necessary due to the increasing volume of customers.
“We are just a busy, busy, busy shop,” Esposito said. “On most days, our eight bays are full, and we have 40 cars in the lot waiting for service.”
Esposito, who founded the business 25 years ago, has been searching for an affordable expansion site in the city’s East End. After months of looking, he acquired the former Mike’s International Garage building in October. The facility underwent extensive renovations, including new shop equipment, lighting and a refurbished waiting area.
“The building was a train wreck inside,” Esposito said. “For the last three months, I have done nothing but renovation -- inside and out. We gutted the place.”
The expansion also marks a generational transition, with Esposito’s sons, Nick and Mitch, taking on leadership roles. Mitch will manage the new location, while Nick will oversee the original shop.
With this transition in place, Esposito plans to retire at the end of 2026, confident that both locations will be well-established under his sons’ leadership.
