The 2025 Chicago Auto Show kicked off Feb. 8 at McCormick Place, offering an array of new and expanded exhibits, including an enhanced electric vehicle (EV) test track and the debut of Overlanding Chicago. The show, which runs through Feb. 17, continues its tradition as the largest and longest-running auto show in North America.
“We are excited to open the doors to the 117th edition of the Chicago Auto Show,” said Show Chairwoman Kelly Webb Roberts. “This coveted winter tradition offers something for everyone, whether you’re shopping for a new vehicle, wanting to learn about the latest trends in automotive, or just looking for an entertaining day out with family and friends.”
One of the most anticipated additions this year is the expansion of the Chicago Drives Electric EV Track, which has grown from one track to two, allowing attendees to experience the latest EVs from a dozen brands across 25 models. Meanwhile, Camp Jeep celebrates its 20th anniversary at the event, continuing to offer thrilling ride-alongs that showcase the off-road capabilities of Jeep vehicles.
For the first time, the show introduces Overlanding Chicago, an exhibit dedicated to overlanding vehicles and the outdoor adventure lifestyle. This specialized space highlights the growing interest in vehicles designed for off-grid travel and exploration. The event also features the Family Zone, a dedicated area offering a safe and fun environment for kids to enjoy interactive experiences.
In addition to indoor activations, multiple manufacturers -- including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Ram, Subaru and Tesla -- are offering outdoor test drives on city streets, giving attendees firsthand experiences behind the wheel.
The 2025 Chicago Auto Show runs daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at McCormick Place, with tickets available for purchase online.
