A fire erupted at Tao's Auto Service in Ross Township, PA, on Oct. 16, drawing multiple fire departments and emergency responders to the scene. The blaze, which caused extensive damage, also led to three firefighters being hospitalized with minor injuries.
Allegheny County officials confirmed firefighters were dispatched shortly before 7 p.m. to battle the intense flames. Despite their efforts, the fire rekindled early the next morning but was swiftly extinguished.
"It was burning very hot. It was very red," Patti Fowler, owner of the neighboring business Flowerama, told WTAE News. "I had just left the building when my staff called me about the fire. I told them to call 911 and make sure everyone stayed safe."
The fire's cause remains under investigation by the fire marshal, with no official word yet on what sparked the destructive incident. No civilians were injured.
