A single mother in need recently received a vehicle to provide her and her family greater independence thanks to the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program along with vehicle donor Farmers and collision repair partner Freeman Collision Center of Santa Rosa, CA.

Breanna Archuleta, a single mother of three young children, received a 2018 Chrysler 300 Limited. For the family of four without a current vehicle, the gift of reliable transportation will be transformative, particularly given the unique needs of Archuleta’s daughter, who has autism and needs specialized services, therapies and medical appointments.

The reliable vehicle will also provide a better environment than public transportation, which can be unpredictable and stressful, not to mention having immediate access in the event of an emergency. It will also make it easier for the family to participate in community activities, social gatherings and family outings.

Archuleta, nominated by Shepherd’s Gate of Livermore, CA, was excited about receiving the gift of the vehicle.

Giving back to the community and helping individuals and families in need is very important to Freeman Collision Center.

“It was so special to gift a 2018 Chrysler 300 Limited to a young woman that has bravely managed through some challenges in her life,” said Jesse Parks, collision director, Freeman Collision Center. “We repaired the vehicle here at Freeman Collision Center and had several partners assist in this process including Lexus Service, Toyota Service, Grainger’s Auto Glass, Tony’s Auto Care, California Highway Patrol and Tristar Automotive all donated parts and services to this noble cause. It made me very proud to represent our organization.”

Freeman Collision Center also contributes to the community as a supporter of the Luther Burbank Center, helping bring world-class performances, educational programs and popular community events to Northern California.

Other partners in the presentation included Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity and Copart.

NABC Recycled Rides is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the program in 2007, members of the NABC have donated more than 3,300 vehicles valued at some $47 million.
