The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar at 4 p.m. ET March 25 entitled “Advancements in Abrasive Technology.”

Although sandpaper basically got its start as very small rocks glued to paper, relatively recent advancements in the field of abrasives have had a dramatic impact on quality, consistency and performance for the technician. This has also enabled improvements in shop productivity.

In this session, Luke Riveness with 3M Collision will cover some of the improvements made in the company's oldest product family. Special emphasis will be placed on why participants should care about the abrasives they use and how they can maximize their refinish results by understanding how every sand scratch matters.

Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance for this live session. Allow one week for automatic email delivery of the certificate.

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available. Access to recorded sessions is reserved for those who register for the live event.
