Clement Auto Group has acquired Marty Cancila Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, now renamed Clement Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Florissant, located in Florissant, MO, part of the greater Metro St. Louis area. This acquisition was facilitated by Tim Wild of the Tim Lamb Group, which announced the sale.
The dealership sprawls across 50,500 square feet and includes 34 bays and a full-service body shop. The interior of the showroom is currently undergoing renovations, with future plans to expand the service center to increase capacity at the dealership and to account for the growing needs of its nearby Clement Pre-Owned Store.
The sale was made due to the impending retirement of previous owner Tony Cancila.
Clement Auto Group plans to retain all team members, many of whom have been with the dealership for more than two decades.
The group, headed by owner and President Raj Clement, currently owns four dealerships in Missouri and one in Illinois that offer Ford, Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Mitsubishi vehicles, along with two large pre-owned stores in Missouri.
“Selling to a local dealer is a very delicate situation. Raj was sensitive to the Cancila family concerns as he moved through the purchasing process,” said Wild, director of the Midwest and Plains region for the Tim Lamb Group. “Working with Raj and being able to provide him with another store that will help to not only expand his business, but the community outreach efforts that his company is so deeply involved in, was personally rewarding.”
Beyond business expansion, Clement Auto Group is deeply involved in local community engagement, partnering with local governments, schools and businesses in donations, fundraising and community events. Its Drive for Excellence initiative offers scholarships to high-achieving students in surrounding counties.
