As Southern California wildfires wreak havoc on homes and businesses, the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) is available to support those in the auto care industry who have been affected. The AACF, known for assisting individuals during crises, is offering financial and resource support to industry professionals whose livelihoods have been upended.
“Life events -- such as illnesses and natural disasters including wildfires -- can destroy years’ worth of work in only a fraction of the time it took to build,” said Rodney Pierini, president and CEO of CAWA, in a statement to his organization, which represents the aftermarket parts industry in Arizona, California and Nevada.
AACF’s support extends to individuals whose careers in the auto care industry have faced sudden disruptions. Beyond financial aid, AACF’s assistance can help alleviate the long-term effects of these challenges on families and communities.
The Southern California wildfires have caused widespread destruction, leaving many residents without homes and businesses. AACF’s relief programs are aimed at helping auto care professionals rebuild their lives and secure their futures.
CAWA has encouraged its members, prospects and friends to spread the word about AACF’s assistance programs. “Our prayers go out to all affected by this horrific event,” Pierini added.
