A Phoenix-area mother, Corina Kelley, was presented April 24 with a 2017 Ford Edge Titanium, enhancing her ability to manage her family's complex needs. This event, part of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program, took place during the Auto Body Parts Association's annual conference in Scottsdale, AZ.

Kelley has faced a lifetime of challenges, from homelessness to raising four children, some of whom have special needs, all without reliable transportation. The vehicle, donated by Nationwide and refurbished by Crash Champions Collision Scottsdale, promises to ease some of these burdens.

“When I pick my children up from school, that’s our special time,” Kelley shared. “It’s a moment when we can talk about our day, or sing songs, or just be silly together. I am just so grateful that you all have blessed us with this vehicle. We are so appreciative of this donation.”

“It is our pleasure to do our part to get this vehicle ready for the Kelley family," said Mike Fitzpatrick, vice president for southwest markets at Crash Champions. "This is one of the best events we have all year, and we are proud to participate in the NABC Recycled Rides program."

The Recycled Rides program brings together various facets of the collision repair industry to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in dire need of reliable transportation. Since its inception in 2007, the program has donated more than 3,300 vehicles valued at approximately $47 million.

This year's vehicle presentation was sponsored by the Auto Body Parts Association at its annual meeting and business conference at the Scott Resort. The ABPA has been a consistent backer of the NABC Recycled Rides presentations at its annual conferences since 2017, aiming to foster change and offer substantial support across the nation.

Additional partners involved in this year's presentation included Cars for Charity, Advanced Remarketing Services, Copart, Autozone, Big Brand and Premier Services.
