At the CSN Conference held in February, a single mother from Orange County, CA, received a beautifully refurbished vehicle that will help her pursue her college degree and take care of her children, thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program along with insurance partner Farmers Insurance and collision repair partner All Magic Body & Paint Collision Centers.

The vehicle, a 2019 Toyota Corolla, was donated by Farmers and completely refurbished by the technicians at All Magic Body & Paint Collision Center of Fontana, CA.

The recipient, Jessica Chavez, was without transportation since she lost her vehicle in an accident last year. This single mother of two hasn’t had a reliable ride since then, until now. The new vehicle is already enabling Chavez to continue her schooling and to take care of her daughters. She is intent on escaping the cycle of poverty, and a vehicle is essential to that quest.

The presentation took place at Collision Solutions Network’s (CSN) national meeting at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA. CSN assists independent and dealer collision repair facilities with corporate-level support to better compete in an ever-evolving marketplace. CSN focuses on helping its network shops improve operating performance and efficiency through a variety of services and programs. All Magic Paint and Body Collison Centers is a member of CSN, and has refurbished multiple vehicles for residents in need in their communities.

NABC Recycled Rides is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the program in 2007, members of the NABC have donated more than 3,500 vehicles valued at some $51 million.

Additional partners in the presentation included K&P Auto Dismantler, Scan Tech Automotive Solutions, AkzoNobel, Lobos Towing, Advanced Remarketing Services, Cars for Charity, Copart and Enterprise.
