The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has opened nominations for its prestigious 2024 awards, recognizing individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to the collision repair industry.

This year, a new accolade, the NABC Community Partner Award, will spotlight charitable partners excelling in local or national efforts.

The new award joins the NABC President’s Award and the NABC Changing and Saving Lives Award in celebrating outstanding service and dedication within the industry.

"The evolution of our awards program mirrors the growth of our organization and our commitment to acknowledging those who lead and inspire our community," said Debby Robinson, NABC executive director.

The NABC President’s Award honors a member company that exemplifies the council’s mission through significant contributions of time and resources. This recipient will also see a charitable donation made in their honor by the NABC to a philanthropic organization, celebrating their commitment to giving back.

Meanwhile, the NABC Changing and Saving Lives Award will be presented to an individual who has gone beyond their professional duties to support the NABC's mission of improving lives daily. The winner will receive an engraved trophy and a charitable contribution in their name.

The newly introduced NABC Community Partner Award will recognize a charitable organization that has effectively collaborated with NABC initiatives like NABC Recycled Rides and NABC First Responder Emergency Extrication (F.R.E.E.) program. Eligible charities include those serving military members, veterans and other groups, which have participated in NABC events in the past two years. The selected charity will receive a $500 donation from the NABC.

Nominations for all awards are accepted until Oct. 15, with the community encouraged to propose candidates who demonstrate exceptional community service and professional integrity.

Last year, GEICO and Shawn Crozat, CEO of G&C Auto Body, received honors for their contributions. This year, the NABC is eager to continue recognizing those who embody the spirit of service and leadership that defines the industry.
