The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota (AASPMN) announced it will award up to $20,000 in scholarships to support students enrolled in Minnesota-based automotive service or collision repair programs in the fall of 2025. Individual scholarships will range from $500 to $2,000 and may be applied toward tuition or tool purchases.
“This scholarship program is a testament to our commitment to cultivating the next generation of skilled professionals in the automotive industry,” the organization said in a news release.
Applicants must be enrolled in an ASE-accredited post-secondary program and submit their applications by March 31. Selection criteria include scholastic achievement, career goals, financial need and recommendations.
Scholarship applications can be downloaded from the AASPMN website or submitted online via AutomotiveScholarships.com, where students also gain access to opportunities offered by more than 40 other automotive organizations, including the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.
Since 2002, the AASPMN Education Fund has awarded upwards of $345,000 in scholarships and invested in SkillsUSA and automotive education programs. To further bolster workforce development, AASPMN created Minnesota Careers in Automotive Repair and Service (MNCARS) in 2016, a statewide initiative promoting automotive careers to high school students.
