FantomWorks, also known as DRS Automotive, is located in Norfolk, VA, and owned by Dan Short, who served 24 years in the army as a member of the 5th Special Forces Group Airborne.

FantomWorks provides classic, antique and muscle antique car restoration services to Norfolk, VA, and the surrounding areas. It is committed to providing service and value reminiscent of the golden days of the automobile.

The shop offers a variety of services including body work, metal fabrication, trim/interior restoration, mechanical repair, and even restoration of other items such as vintage jukeboxes, televisions, vending machines and more. Its shop and online store sells new classic car parts, FantomWorks merchandise and antiques. FantomWorks offers tours to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 p.m. Tour groups are limited to 40 people.

In August 2017, Fantomworks announced through its social media channels that it is now offering a full line of Dynacorn products directly from the FantomWorks online store. Dynacorn International has been supplying classic muscle car enthusiasts with sheet metal, bright trim and molding for restorations since 1984. In 2005, Dynacorn introduced the first all-steel replacement Camaro body shell. Since then, Dynacorn has added several models to its line-up, all licensed by GM, Ford and Chrysler. Dynacorn will be exhibiting at SEMA, Booth #22891.

FantomWorks is also the name of the reality TV show currently airing on the Velocity network covering the shop's automotive restorations. The newest season premiered on Sept. 22, 2017. In this YouTube video, Fantomworks used a hand-mixed combination of paints on the restoration of a black 1962 Maserati 3500GT. Prior to the final coat shown in the video, Por15 was used to permanently seal the car, to prevent rust for another lifetime.
