    A KiaK5 recall includes about 189,000 vehicles equipped with side curtain airbags that may not deploy properly.

    The 2021-2023 Kia K5 side curtain airbags can fail if they weren't correctly installed at the Kia Georgia assembly plant.

    A Kia engineer was inspecting a 2021 K5 that had been involved in a crash. The engineer noticed there may have been a problem with how the driver's side curtain airbag deployed in the crash.

    A ToyotaTundra truck bed cover recall involves more than 143,000 trucks equipped with optional Toyota genuine truck bed accessory tonneau covers that can detach from the trucks while driving.

    Nearly 14,000 Toyota Tundra trucks are recalled in Canada.

    Tundra owners will be contacted in March and asked to confirm if their trucks are equipped with the optional bed covers.

    The 2022-2023 Tundra truck owners are instructed to remove the bed covers until the trucks are repaired by dealerships.

    Park Outside: Stellantis Recalls Ram Trucks Due to Fire Risk

    Stellantis is telling the owners of nearly 341,000 Ramdiesel trucks to park them outdoors because an electrical connector can overheat and cause a fire.

    The company said Feb. 15 it’s recalling the trucks to replace the connectors after getting reports of six potentially related fires. In one case, the owner reported that a fire started after the truck’s engine was shut off.

    Volvo Group North America has agreed to pay $130 million to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for alleged failures regarding vehicle recalls.

    In a consent order with NHTSA, Volvo agreed to pay the civil penalty of $130 million in what the government called "one of the largest-ever penalties for violations of the Vehicle Safety Act."

    The order follows a NHTSA investigation that allegedly found Volvo failed to properly report death and injury incidents, and failed to recall vehicles in a timely fashion.
