CAA San Diego Hosts Estimating Solutions for Profit Workshop

The California Autobody Association San Diego Chapter will host a CARPAC fundraiser on March 26 with a special one-day class on "Estimating Solutions for Profit (ESP) Workshop" with Michael Pellet, Regional Training Center Manager at Sherwin-Williams Dallas Automotive Training Center.

The class qualifies for 12 AMI Credits and 1.75 I-CAR points (after application and fees are mailed in).

Every day, shops utilize processes, procedures, and materials to return the car to pre-loss condition and restore the crash worthiness of vehicles they repair. The goal of this class is to help participants recognize those costs of doing business, effectively build them into the estimate, and aggressively negotiate payment for them.

The class is limited to 40 people and registration forms must be mailed in immediately to reserve a spot.

The class will be held at Holiday Inn San Diego North Miramar, 9335 Kearny Mesa Road in San Diego, CA, and begins at 8 a.m.

Michael Pellett has been involved with the collision repair business since 1973. He has been employed by Sherwin-Williams for 25 years, and operates a Region Training Center as well as a SW Body Shop Consultant.

Cost is $55 for pre-paid members or $75 for non members. After March 18 (or at the door, seats permitting), the cost is $75 for members or $95 for non members.

Mail checks payable to CARPAC to Hop Sanchez at 2214 Dante Terrace, Vista, CA 92084.
