New Details Emerge About Body Shop Raid in Corpus Christi, TX

DPS investigators, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Corpus Christi Police Department seized drugs and weapons during a raid on February 3 at the Crosstown Auto Care in the 4300 block of South Port Ave.

Police told that the business was allegedly being used as a front for the illegal operations.

One woman and three men were arrested for felony possession of weapons and drugs.

Three nearby homes were also raided as part of the bust, reported

In addition to methamphetamine and cocaine that were found during the raid, officers said more drugs, including heroin and crack, were also recovered. A dozen vehicles were towed away from the shop.

Investigators have not yet released the street value of the drugs, and no cash was found. Officers told they hope the arrest will prevent further drug operations from starting up.

It has not yet been determined whether the drug operation was gang related.
