TEXAS AUTOMOTIVE SUMMIT 2010:

The Texas Automotive Summit is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at the San Marcos Convention Center.  It's a great event for Automotive seminars, networking and vendor interaction.  More information will be forthcoming about the event, hotel accomodations and registration for TIAA & ASA members, non members, and vendors. Be sure to set aside this date and plan to attend.

AUSTIN CHAPTER MEETING AUGUST 2009: The Austin Chapter Meeting is 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009 at Antonio's Tex Mex Restaurant located at 16912 North IH 35 located in Round Rock, Texas.  The phone number to the restaurant is (512) 238-8969.  The chapter will be awarding several scholarships to students taking automotive college-level courses.  It will be a great meeting so be sure to attend.
ALAMO CHAPTER MEETING AUGUST 2009: The Alamo Chapter meeting is 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009 at Pompei Italian Grill(210) 946-5518.  Butch Cox, from the Royal Purple Automotive Consumer Division, will be speaking about the advantages of Royal Purple Full Synthetic Oil, especially in the extreme heat conditions being experienced in south Texas.  Cox is a past ASE Master Tech, past shop owner, former NAPA employee, and automotive enthusiast.  He's been working at Royal Purple for seven years.  Also at the meeting, Ken Blackmon of KNB Services will give a brief overview of some pending mechanic lien changes stemming from legislative changes in Washington D.C.  Don't miss this valuable meeting. located at 16109 Nacogdoches Rd in San Antonio.  The restaurant's phone number is
