Tucson Police Release Descriptions of Suspects in Auto Parts Store Robbery

Descriptions of the suspects in an armed robbery committed Sunday, September 4 have been released by Tucson police.

The first suspect, described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s with a stocky build and full beard, was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts and a black baseball hat.


The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s with a thin build who was last seen wearing a black tank top and red shorts.


Both are suspects in the robbery of an O'Reilly Auto Parts store at 1770 E. Irvington Road. According to TPD, the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. when the two suspects entered the store and shoplifted items. The clerk attempted to stop them, and when one suspect lifted his shirt to show a gun, the clerk stepped aside and the suspects left the store heading eastbound on foot.


According to TPD, no one was hurt.
