ABRA Auto Body & Glass Helps Raise $10,000 For Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital

ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced on October 14 it helped raise more than $10,000 during the third annual Gaylord Springs Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Over 130 golfers and guests gathered at the Gaylord Springs Golf Links in Nashville, Tennessee on August 21, 2014 to support Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN.

"We are excited and honored to receive this generous donation from ABRA Auto Body & Glass," said Chris Lee, associate director of Children’s Ambulatory Services. “Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s at Vanderbilt is committed to identifying cures and better treatments for the children in our community, and this donation will help us provide the best possible care to our patients and families.”

The third annual golf event is part of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital’s initiative to offer world-class treatment to every child who comes to the hospital. No child that needs services is denied care on the basis of limited ability to pay.

“We are privileged to partner with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to support the health of children in the community,” said Duane Rouse, president and chief executive officer of ABRA. “We are honored to be part of a cause that is near to everyone’s heart.”
