11 Cars Broken Into at Caliber Collision in Fort Myers, FL

Written by Emma Green, NBC2

An auto body repair shop was the site of 11 car burglaries the night of March 6, according to an incident report from the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Fort Myers, FL.

Around 11 p.m., an unidentified suspect or suspects entered 11 customers' cars, all of which were unlocked, at 2131 Andrea Ln. inside Caliber Collision, the report said.

Deputies responded March 7 to a complaint from the auto body repair and paint shop about the burglaries and investigated the incident, which included a video request.

Some of the car owners signed affidavits with their desire to prosecute.

The incident report has some information redacted and does not mention what, if anything, was stolen from the cars.
