NC High School Receives Ultimate Collision Makeover Grant

Westover High School in Fayetteville, NC, has been awarded the 2018 Ultimate Collision Makeover Grant provided by the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF).

 

The award of $12,000 will provide the tools and equipment needed to enhance the students’ hands-on training in collision repair.

 

“I am honored and excited to accept this grant,” said Mr. Darrin Boyer, Westover High School’s collision repair technology instructor. “This funding will create opportunities for my students to succeed in this competitive industry.”

 

This grant is offered to both secondary and post-secondary schools with collision repair and refinishing programs all across the country. Its purpose is to help these programs grow to provide quality training to future industry members. The extensive application process included video documentation of the learning/training facilities. Congratulations to Westover High School and Mr. Boyer!
