Suspect Arrested, Charged After Money Bag Stolen From Auto Parts Store

Charleston, WV Police say they have arrested a man wanted in connection with a money bag stolen from the NAPA Auto Parts store on the city’s West Side, Charleston Police say.

The theft happened about 9:20 a.m. on June 30. Police say a money bag was taken then from the store in the 600 block of Virginia Street West.


Robert "Rocky" Pryor, 57, of Charleston, is charged with grand larceny.


Police say they found the money after a getting a search warrant for his apartment.


Officers say security footage helped them determine Pryor as a suspect.


CPD says Pryor has a lengthy criminal history with police.
