NY Body Shop Owner Hit with Tax Fraud Charges After Failing to Report Over $1 Million in Income

A Queens body shop owner was hit with tax fraud charges Wednesday after he allegedly failed to report more than $1 million in income, District Attorney Richard Brown said.

Alfred D’Andrea, who owns Triangle Auto Body in Ridgewood, allegedly bilked the city and state out of at least $100,000 in taxes by underreporting three years’ worth of payments from insurance companies, officials said.
