Police: Pasadena, MD Resident Charged With Stealing Scrap Metal from Local Body Shop

On February 9, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the European Auto Body Shop located at 8201 Ritchie Hwy. Pasadena, Md. for a report of a theft.

The victim advised that seven thousand dollars’ worth of metal, wire, and engine parts were stolen from his business. The victim supplied surveillance footage of the suspect committing the theft.

Based on the video and further investigation, the suspect was identified as Adam James Ziemski, a 32-year-old from the 8100 block of Solley Rd. Pasadena MD.

On February 12, detectives from the Metal Theft Unit with assistance from Eastern District Patrol Shift 2 executed a search warrant at 8149 Solley Rd. Pasadena, MD. Detectives were unable to locate any of the stolen property, but they seized clothing and documents related to the crime, as well as CDS paraphernalia.

While interviewing Ziemski at Eastern District, detectives discovered additional information of Ziemski scrapping the stolen property at a scrap yard in Baltimore City, and receiving $58.00 in return.

Ziemski was charged for theft over $1,000, trespassing, 4th degrees burglary, and CDS paraphernalia possession.
