Service King Collision Repair Centers Reaches Agreement to Acquire Car West Auto Body

Service King Collision Repair Centers (Service King), a multi-state operator of high-quality collision repair facilities and one of the fastest growing collision repair companies nationwide, announced on Sept. 24 it has reached an agreement to acquire Car West Auto Body, a multi-shop operator in Northern California.

Car West currently operates six locations, with a seventh location opening soon. A leader in the Northern California market, Car West can accommodate more than 1,800 vehicle repairs each month for customers in the surrounding cities of Dublin, San Jose, Santa Clara, Fremont, Yuba City and Mountain View.

"Service King Collision Repair Centers has a great reputation for taking care of people," said Craig Moe, Car West Auto Body Owner. "I am confident our customers and our employees will be well served by the sale of Car West."

Moe purchased Car West in 2006 and was pivotal in guiding the company through its recent growth. Service King, with the addition of the Car West locations, will now operate 18 stores in the state of California.

"Our recent Sterling Autobody acquisition and Marco's Collision Centers acquisition serve as a platform for our growth in the California market.  The addition of Car West and their 360 teammates will give us an even greater footprint in the heart of Silicon Valley," said Chris Abraham, Service King CEO. "We are excited to have the team on board and look forward to delivering the Service King standard of exceptional customer service and high quality repairs in these communities."

The Car West Auto Body acquisition will officially close in early October.
