The California and Nevada Automotive Wholesalers Association (CAWA) has announced that three major program groups, the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Federated Auto Parts, and the National Pronto Association, have joined CAWA in support of its government affairs program and what CAWA does to promote and protect the interests of its members and the automotive aftermarket industry. CAWA president and CEO, Rodney Pierini, said, “We are very honored to have received the recognition and support of these program groups. I believe these organizations have seen the value of supporting what we do out west, and we could not be more pleased.” These groups have joined with long-time CAWA members Genuine Parts Company, NAPA and General Parts Company, and CARQUEST. “Hopefully, other program groups will...join in the future to support CAWA efforts as the first line of defense for aftermarkets out west,” Pierini concluded. CAWA is a regional automotive aftermarket trade association that represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers, and manufacturer representatives in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
