An auto-body worker who claims he was fired because he complained about being ridiculed over his Russian heritage has filed a $265,000 lawsuit against his former employer.
Sukhrob Rabimov claims that a co-worker at True Form Collision Repair tacked onto the walls a bare-chested photo of him riding a brown bear, according to a lawsuit filed this month in Yamhill County Circuit Court. Rabimov's head was superimposed on top of an existing photograph of a man straddling the bear in the woods.
Rabimov also claims in his lawsuit that the same co-worker called him a "Rusky" or "Rusky" with an expletive preceding it.
