Jeff Lovell, President and Executive Director of ASA-Northwest, states, “It is so gratifying to have ATE grow each year to establish itself as the West Coast’s premier training event.”
Lovell continues, “We had over 900 industry professionals at ATE 2015, and a record number of shop owners, managers, service advisors, technicians, and 74 automotive instructors from high schools and colleges attended three days of management and technical training. Our volunteers and staff help make this an exceptional event that provides quality training to all levels of the service and repair industry.”
Four keynotes speakers made special appearances at ATE 2015. At lunch on Friday, WORLDPAC’s renowned trainer Mark Warren presented “Lesson Learned After 25 Years in Business.”
Breakfast on Saturday featured “The 7 Pearls of Business Wisdom” with Rick White of 1-800-BIZ, and attendees received a lot of useful information at lunch on Saturday with Jay Gubrud’s “Rev Up Your Relationships.”
Gary Gunn from Turnaround Tour presented “The How-To for Auto Repair Shop Success” during Sunday’s breakfast.
Todd Black, owner of Unlimited Services and Chairman of the Board for ASA-Northwest, said, “The Education Committee did a great job of choosing seminars that the automotive service industry needs. ATE is one of the most affordable training events on the West Coast. The goal of the ASA Northwest Board and staff is to make everyone attending ATE feel like they are special and more than just a face in the crowd.”
In addition to the educational seminars presented, ATE 2015 also featured an extensive trade expo with a variety of exhibitors displaying parts, equipment, specialty products, and shop management services.
A variety of door prizes were also awarded to attendees over the course of the weekend.
ATE 2016 will take place on March 18-20, 2016 at the same location.
