Fred Mazaheri is continuing to expand his downtown Oklahoma holdings with the purchase of the former Body Works shop at 100 S Charlie Christian Ave. He is also in the process of securing a contract to buy a lumberyard south of Lower Bricktown, reported Steve Lackmeyer, The Oklahoman.
Fred's other properties include the former Bank of America drive-thru at 425 Robert S. Kerr Ave, the Power Alley Garage, 222 E Sheridan Ave. in Bricktown, and the Core to Shore that is west of the future park that the city has plans to build.
The Body Works site represents one of the largest undeveloped industrial sites left in Bricktown as the former Stewart Metal Fabricators complex to the north was recently razed with the land being redeveloped into apartments, retail, hotels, restaurants and a concert venue, reported Lackmeyer.
“We identified the former Body Works site about four months ago and the buyers quickly put the property under contract,” Phillip Mazaheri, Fred's brother and business partner, told Lackmeyer. “This development will be a great addition to the development of East Bricktown.”
