A Broken Arrow, OK, man is accused of vandalizing dozens of cars at dealerships along Memorial.
Police say 24-year-old William Knox Jr. smashed car windshields between 41st and 51st.
According to officials, Knox used his belt buckle to smash windshields and scratch cars. Witnesses reported all of this to police, and officers caught him near 41st and Memorial.
Don Carlton Acura General Manager, John Ashley, came in the morning of Sept. 16 to find 25 damaged cars and $20,000 worth of damage. Seven cars at Don Carlton Honda were also hit.
Both dealerships hope to re-open on Sept. 20.
Police said Knox damaged vehicles on at least six car lots. Officials also found oxycodone pills on Knox that he did not have a prescription for.
