Hunterdon County, NJ Polytech 2015 SkillsUSA State Competition Held May 2

On May 2, the NJ SkillsUSA Competitions final award event took place at the Garden State Exhibit Center.

The theme for this year’s New Jersey SkillsUSA was '50 Years of Champions at Work.’

This year 64 Hunterdon County Polytech students competed in a variety of competitions from Collision Repair to the Cosmetology Knowledge Bowl. The result was a total of 27 Medal Winners; 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 8 Bronze, reported the Hunterdon County Democrat.

Six of the nine gold medal winners will be chosen to compete in Louisville, KY at the end of June.

The collision repair students that are eligible for the nationals include Joseph Bianco in Automotive Refinishing Tech and Nicholas Bianco in Collision Repair Tech, reported the Hunterdon County Democrat.
