First Intern Graduates from Pennsylvania Auto Shop Career Development Program, C.R.O.P.

On Thursday, February 20, 2014, Keenan Auto Body of Pennsylvania and Delaware held a graduation ceremony for Oscar Cantoran-Corona, the first graduate of their Collision Repair Opportunity Program (C.R.O.P.) at their Keenan West facility in Edgemont, PA. Keenan staff presented Oscar with a diploma, a plaque, a full set of tools, and an offer for a full-time job with Keenan. C.R.O.P. was started by Max Sorenson, Keenan West manager, and Craig Camacho, Keenan marketing director. It is nine-month, unpaid internship program with 20 hours per week of on-site, hands-on training designed for recent high school graduates who received instructional and/or training in the automotive repair field.
