A fire destroyed a good portion of a Mahopac, NY business Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 15, while causing minor injuries to two firefighters.

H&V Collision Center, the largest independent and family-owned collision repair company in the Capital Region, is joining with the Marine Corps to collect for Toys for Tots at all H&V locations in upstate New York.

A South Shore used car business will cease operations and its owner will pay restitution after they were sued for selling unsafe and unreliable used cars, failing to make repairs which were promised or required under warranties, and operating in unlicensed locations, Attorney General Maura Healey announced on December 7.
