A South Shore used car business will cease operations and its owner will pay restitution after they were sued for selling unsafe and unreliable used cars, failing to make repairs which were promised or required under warranties, and operating in unlicensed locations, Attorney General Maura Healey announced on December 7.

To recognize and help raise awareness for National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, observed November 12-20, 2016, employees from Axalta Coating Systems swapped their laptops for ladles and fulfilled the Ministry of Caring’s lunch service needs at its Emmanuel Dining Room in Wilmington, Delaware.

Porrino and the Division on Civil Rights announced that a New Jersey-based auto parts company has agreed to pay a Camden County man $55,000 to resolve allegations that it failed to hire him, despite his being qualified and experienced, because of his race and age.
