WI Spartan Hot Rod Program Transforming 1968 Ford Falcon Coupe for Senior Project

Erick Markon, one of eight Superior High School students rebuilding a 1968 Ford Falcon Coupe as part of the Spartan Hot Rod Mentoring Program, strips the paint off a front fender at Len’s Auto Body in Superior on Nov. 5.

The transformation of a 1968 Ford Falcon Coupe is underway at Len’s Auto Body in Superior.

When it’s done, the car will be all business, from the larger wheels and lowered front end to the new color scheme — black with a red interior. The most unique thing about the car isn’t the muscle hiding under the hood or the dog dish hubcaps. It’s the mechanics who are bringing it to life, a group of Superior High School seniors.
