ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced on November 3 it had helped raise more than $29,000 for the Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis, Indiana. ABRA donated the funds to hospital representatives on October 29, 2015 during a check presentation ceremony.
The funds were raised at ABRA’s third annual charity golf outing on August 13 at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course in Indianapolis. Over 120 golfers participated in this year’s tournament with many additional volunteers helping to make the day possible.
The donation will be used to support Riley Hospital for Children in its mission to ensure children have access to exceptional healthcare by funding pediatric research, education and care.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued and generous support from ABRA,” says Drew Autajay, senior corporate giftmid officer at Riley Children’s Foundation. “Their contribution will make a dramatic difference in the level of care and comfort that Riley Hospital is able to provide many children and families.”
“Riley Children’s Foundation is an incredible organization that provides hope for many families in our community,” says Peterson Santos, regional vice president of ABRA. “We are honored to support them in their mission to continuously improve children’s health care.”
