CARSTAR Scola's Collision Center in IL to Donate Car to Deserving Veteran As Part of NABC Recycled Rides® Program

This Veteran’s Day, CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center will be donating a 2015 Chevy Equinox to a military veteran. Progressive Service Centers are honoring veterans across the country in this third annual vehicle giveaway event. In association with the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides® project, the Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, along with several national and local partners is donating over 130 vehicles to these heroes in appreciation of their service.

Progressive is working together with local NABC member body shops to recycle and donate vehicles that have been damaged in an accident. CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center has expertly rebuilt this Chevy Equinox at their own expense, and with parts donated by vendors. Rebuilding this vehicle is a special show of appreciation for the shop.

“I am always happy to help the men and women who have defended our freedom,” said Lou Scola, a six-year Navy veteran and co-owner of CARSTAR Scola’s Collision Center. “We can’t do enough to thank our veterans. I look forward to seeing this vehicle in the hands of one of our nation’s finest.”
