The three light heads are independently adjustable from a linear horizontal formation all the way around to a circular formation for 360° illumination. The light heads are constructed with Cree T6 LED emitters that produce 12,000 lumens of cool white light while drawing only 120 watts of power. Each light head is housed within an aluminum alloy body and protected behind a shatter resistant polycarbonate lens.
This portable LED light tower is equipped with a remote controlled three way switch for high, middle, and low illumination settings. The three way remote control has a range of 164’, allowing operators to make light level adjustments from a distance. This battery powered light tower comes with a pelican style case that serves as the mounting base, transport system, and waterproof storage case. This case includes a collapsible handle and solid wheels. The unit is powered by an onboard rechargeable 12 volt lithium ion battery pack with a three to twelve hour run-time depending on the setting of the unit.
“This new portable light tower is a self-contained lighting solution designed to be easily deployed for applications such as emergency rescue, fire, police, and utility maintenance,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “For storage and transport, the light assembly and tower can be stored within the wheeled case, aiding in mobility and providing operators with a compact lighting solution when storage space is of the essence.”
Larson Electronics also announced the release of a 4 watt Class 1 Division 2 LED strip light equipped with a twenty foot cord terminated with a standard two wire flying lead.
The HAL-6-IPS-LED-20 hazardous location LED strip light from Larson Electronics is designed for applications where Class 1 Division 2 compliance is required.
This six inch LED strip light produces a 500 lumen light output, operates on any voltage ranging from 120 to 277 volts AC or 11 to 25 volts DC/AC. This light is rated IP65 for protection against exposure to low pressure water jets from all directions. Two adjustable end brackets allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically. Measuring only six inches in length and almost three inches in width, this hazardous location strip light is ideal for areas where space is limited, such as illuminating control panels and under cabinets. This hazardous location strip light is weatherproof, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
“Featuring a low profile design, this fixture provides optimal light output for applications requiring hazardous location classifications,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. “The adjustable mounting brackets make this hazardous area LED light versatile and is a perfect solution for applications with common exposure to wetness or dusty conditions.”
