Updated OEM Scan Chart Now Includes Subaru

Subaru recently released its position statement on pre- and post-repair scanning for 2004-model-year-and-newer vehicles involved in a collision. The “OEM Diagnostic Scanning Positions Quick Reference  Chart,” first  introduced to the collision repair  industry by Autobody News in March 2017, has been updated to include Subaru.

APRA Big R Show to Co-Locate with NACE Automechanika in 2018

The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) will be co-locating its International Big R Show with NACE Automechanika in 2018 and subsequent years, according to a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the parties. The first co-located event will occur August 8-10, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.

In today’s ever-changing vehicle landscape, it is imperative that shops stay up-to-date on the latest collision repair equipment and techniques.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the scholarships in collision repair that were created to assist deserving students pursuing a career in the collision industry. These awards are part of over $200,000 in scholarships given out in May 2017 by the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
