GM Dealer Equipment recommends The Rail Saver Repair System as the "must have" tool for collision repair technicians. It is designed by an auto body tech to help auto body techs efficiently repair frame rails and side members from the inside out.
The Rail Saver demonstration can be seen at SEMA in Las Vegas from November 4- 7 in booth #11525, in the Collision Repair Area, by TG Products’ Tim Gerhards.
“The Rail Saver Repair System was tested and approved by General Motors for use on both full-frame and unitized vehicles. This product works on steel, high-strength steel, and aluminum body components. This tool will help pin-point the damage location to ensure accurate repairs from the inside of a frame rail working outward," stated the GM Collision Repair Technology Center Manager, General Motors.
The GM Dealer Equipment Program offers products for service, parts and body shop. Equipment is tested by GM before it is approved for use in dealerships. The field sales organization and technical specialists will provide assistance on product selection, application, service and support for “One Stop Shopping” on all service department needs. GMDE offers flexible payment options, minimum one year parts and labor manufacturer’s warranty, factory direct shipments and installation & training assistance.
