JMPR Public Relations, Inc., announced on Oct. 2, 2014 that it will handle PR and media relations projects on behalf of Driven Performance Brands and its family of automotive aftermarket companies including Hurst, B&M and Flowmaster leading up to SEMA.
JMPR will be responsible for promoting the company's presence at the SEMA Show including scheduling meetings, interviews and briefings between media, VIPs and executives for each of the brands.
Driven Performance Brands is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of performance and racing drivetrain products and accessories. The company was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif., just outside of San Francisco. DPB has grown to include well-known automotive aftermarket companies including B&M, Hurst Shifters, Hurst Driveline Conversions and Flowmaster.
DPB selected JMPR based upon the agency's experience in the automotive aftermarket and strong media relationships. JMPR's current work includes serving as the agency of record (AOR) for aftermarket brands including, Meguiar's, Royal Purple, Pep Boys and Classic Industries, as well as having previously served as the AOR for Hurst Performance Vehicles and the SEMA Show itself, which the agency handled for more than eight years. The account will be overseen and based out of JMPR's headquarters in Los Angeles with the support of JMPR's network of automotive aftermarket consultants across the country.
